Camtu's Alaska Wild Seafoods Offload Dock at
LOT 1, BLOCK 7A, OF TIDEWATER DEVELOPMENT PARK
Letters of Support Request

Dear Beloved Community Members, Fishing Fleet, Businesses, and Organizations:
We are writing to respectfully ask for your support as we move forward with an important local project that is currently under review— an offload dock for our seafood processing plant at the Lot 1, Block 7A, Of Tidewater Development Park. We have recently submitted a Request For Proposal for this property (click here) and had full support from the council. This proposal provides both value to the fishing industry and the general community. Although a massive accomplishment has been achieved, it is still a long journey ahead!
We are now at the next step, where formal letters of support are needed. Letters of support help strengthen and amplify the efforts of this project to all upcoming decision-makers. This is all for the people who live, work, and fish here. Every voice matters, and even a short letter can make a meaningful difference.
By submitting a letter of support, you are expressing support for:

-
A strong and resilient fishing industry
-
A healthy and sustainable local economy in Cordova
-
Improved working waterfront infrastructure for fishermen and processors
-
More efficient offloading of seafood
-
Continued local seafood processing and value added in the community
-
Increased employment opportunities for local and seasonal workers
-
Long-term investment in Cordova’s maritime and harbor facilities
-
Helping a local, family-owned and operated business grow
-
Responsible development that balances economic use with community values
